More information about Monarch Special

We commend to you this ebony "morning glory" horn. It is elegant, and well-suited to the this distinguished  instrument.

Showing the top-quality quarter-sawn oak of the deeply paneled and carved cabinet, and the ID plate featuring the world famous "His Master's Voice" logo.

Furthermore, this dealer tag appears on one side of the cabinet.

The back-bracket has its original fancy filigree. The soundbox (needlehead) has been restored to produce sweet music.

The motor was COMPLETELY cleaned, adjusted, lubricated. It plays excellently, with TRIPLE springs for plenty of power. What distinguishes what WE do from what many others do? WE FIX OTHER PEOPLE'S MISTAKES! Sometimes we buy an instrument that someone else has already worked on -- it's inevitable, considering the age of these machines. Most of the time we have to fix the other "repairman's" work -- and we've seen some appalling "repairs." Phonophan would never send out instruments with jury-rigged parts, which many others do with impunity. In short, if it was fixed by someone else, WE fix it again!

The Victor Monarch Special was a top-of-the-line instrument in its day. Today, it's a highly collectible, but eminently ATTAINABLE object of desire.

Price: $3550.00,  plus s/h, (NY State residents must add tax where applicable).
